Wedding love

Once again I decided to have a play with the Pedal Pusher stamp set. Yes, I am loving this set at the moment. This time I have created a wedding or anniversary card.

I love how bold the real red and black combination is. The little hearts are just so cute, so of course I added Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to give my card some sparkle.

I'm here for you...

I finally had a play with the pedal pusher stamp set. Love it! Why did I take so long to ink it up??

It has so many cute choices to pop in the bike basket, this time I decided to use the flowers.

The image was stamped in memento black and then coloured with stampin' write markers. The flowers down the side have a touch of Wink of Stella Brush clear, to give them just a little sparkle.

If you like this set, you will need to get in quickly as it is only available until 31st March 2016. Pedal Pusher is a free item available during Sale-a-bration. In Australia (amounts differ in other countries), for every $90 you spend you choice one free sale-a-bration item.

CASE a Crazy Crafter - Carolina Evans

So the other day I was saying that I was "creatively dead". I just had nothing in me and no project excited me, not even our trusty Pinterest. Yep, I was in that crafting rut.

Anyway the lovely Carolina Evens said "CASE one of my projects!", and this is where my idea for CASE a Crazy Crafter began. So my plan is to choose one Crazy Crafter every Monday and CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit).

This is Carolina's amazing project that inspired me today.

After looking at Carolina's card I was inspired to make a couple of cards.

The first can either be used for a birthday, wedding or even an anniversary. I tried not to make it girly or flowery so it can be given to either gender or a couple.

I used small silver brads to give it some extra sparkle without making it feminine. The sentiment is also heat embossed in black to give it a special look.

My second card, a birthday card, once more I have tried to give it a gender neutral look.

This time I heat embossed the sentiment in silver and added some silver thread (the same as Carolina used but in silver) to add a little something.

Hope you drop by next Monday to see which Crazy Crafter I will CASE. Thanks for stopping by,

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with our special guest Allison Okamitsu

Time for another Crazy Crafters Blog Hop. I always look forward to these and it becomes even more exciting when we have a special guest joining us. This time we have the amazing Allison Okamitsu playing along with us. If you haven't seen her work yet, take a long look at her blog. There sure is some wonderful projects there to get your crafting juices flowing.

This month we are all excited to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) any project that has been created by Allison. We hope you find great inspiration from the projects.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Rosalie Desmond or may have come from the person previous to me.  Be sure to click on the person listed under me further down the page to continue your journey on this blog hop.

This was a tough choice, so many lovely projects to choose from Allison is one talented lady. For some reason one card in particular stood out for me, so I thought I would give it a go.

As it goes with crafting sometimes nothing seemed to work. I loved the look of Allison's card and I so wanted mine to look just as stunning. Well my first problem was I do not own filter paper and I wanted, no needed that look. So I tried to create a similar look by scrunching up vellum.

Well it kind of worked, it did give me texture and Allison's card had lots of different textures so it was definitely in the same spirit.

To be honest with you this card just didn't turn out the way I pictured it in my head. I decided that I would still share it with you today, as everyone has different tastes and it may please someone. But I did decide to give it another go and see what else I could come up with.

For this card I used whisper white card stock, scrunched it up and then sponged some blushing bride to highlight the lines I had created in the card. The next layer I distressed and then sponged the edges with blushing bride as well.

Which card do you like the best?

Thanks for stopping by and please check out all the other amazing projects in this hop,

For Anita - #GDP027

My good friend Anita gave me some inspiration after I was saying that I was lacking creativity. She wanted a card with pink and purple stripes with aqua dots.

Well I remembered aqua as turquoise, and so this card came to life. I wanted to send her the card as a way of saying thank you for her assistance and given this weeks challenge at Global Design Project is "thank you", I thought I would share it on their challenge.

This is the card I made with her requests in mind.

The stripes were created by using washi tape to act as a mask. The spots are from "Made with love" stamp set. The sentiment is from the "Perfect Pairings" stamp set, which is available for free with every order over $90 (AUS) during 2016 Sale-a-bration. Sale-a-bration ends on the 31st March, so if you like any of the Sale-a-bration items you order soon.

I want to send a huge thank you to Anita who has always stood by me and helped out whenever she can. Love you honey!

Thank you for stopping by,

Global Design Project - #GDP25

Always love a challenge, in fact I find them very useful to get my creativity going. Today I decided to join in with the Global Design Project challenge for this week - a colour challenge.

Here is what I came up with.

We always need a little something special on the inside.

This stamp set is such an easy one to use in so many different ways. To make this card for a little girl, all we need to do is to use some different colours, cause dinosaurs are for everyone!

Make sure you visit Global Design Project and check out all the other entries in this week's challenge.

Thank you for stopping by,
